From the humble beginnings of a student apartment wiGroup’s journey began like most start-ups, from the organized chaos of a small room. Very quickly Bevan assembled a team of developers and sales people whose head office had the same address as his home. Bevan’s dream to build a business where ‘our mates come and work and love being there every day’ was a reality from the very start.
This small, passionate team experienced everything together from all-nighters to afternoon naps mostly from the seat of Bevan’s blue couch. The blue couch became the symbol of what it means not only to be remarkable but to be passionate. It pays homage to the challenges all great people face and celebrates the product of these adversities.
We’re using this symbol as a platform to celebrate South Africans from all walks of life. From scientists to musicians these Q&A sessions showcase a range of remarkable life stories. To nominate your remarkable person send your suggestion to our Facebook page or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and you could be invited to meet them.
